Product Inspection Emergency Services
Through our emergency product inspection services, MD packaging can thoroughly test every suspected product for contaminants or defects so that you can continue producing products that your customers rely on! Our program uses the most sensitive and advanced x-ray and metal detection equipment available, often able to detect contaminants below 1mm. We are also able to detect product damage, missing products and under filled or overfilled packages to ensure that you only supply quality-assured products for maximum product recovery.
We stock a multitude of the latest Thermo Fisher Scientific x-ray, metal detector and checkweigher systems specifically for rental use. In addition, we sell new equipment and offer a variety of leasing options.

Thermo Fisher Scientific’s new Sentinel metal detector rapidly scans up to five frequencies to help food and consumer goods manufacturers confidently find ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless steel metal contaminants in products to improve safety for their customers.
The Sentinel metal detector is designed for a wide range of applications, offering improved performance for products such as dairy, meat, poultry, fruit, vegetables, bread and health and beauty.
