Pearson Packaging is a palletizer manufacturer and robotic integrator, providing automated palletizing systems. By using proven technology for palletization, you gain these benefits:

  • Reduce costs associated with labor and inefficiency.
  • Reliable palletizers that will serve you well into the future.
  • Flexibility for the handling of different shapes, sizes, and weights for one or more lines.
  • Low maintenance requirements and tireless automation keeps downtime to a minimum.
  • Improve safety with a palletizing method that reduces heavy lifting, noise and repetitive motion problems

There are distinct advantages of using robots for palletization. A conventional palletizing system takes up more space and only performs one operation at a time. If a product or pallet pattern changes, the conventional palletizer would have to be re-engineered. At a fraction of the cost, a robotic palletizer adapts to changes with only reprogramming and, if needed, a new end of arm tool (EOAT). Robotic palletizing cannot match the sheer speed of fixed automation, but with the advances in EOAT technology it is not far behind; the benefits you gain with a robot palletizing your products far outweighs those concerns.

Case Palletizing Systems

For almost two decades, Pearson Packaging has been building case palletizers for all case styles including RSC, HSC, Bliss boxes, and trays.

Robotic case and carton palletizers are used to lift cases or cartons from production lines and place or stack them perfectly onto a pallet for shipping, moving or storing. A complete load can be stacked in a number of configurations, such as column-stacked, interlocked or pin-wheel configurations.

Pearson Packaging designs your system around a central robot, selecting the correct robot to best match your application. Combining Pearson’s end-of-arm tool technology and the inherent flexibility of a multi-axis robot allows complex palletizing routines to be completed without the need for multiple handling operations.

Pearson Packaging will also integrate your case palletizer with other equipment such as conveyors, case erectors, case packers, and automatic guided vehicles to create a complete end-of-line solution.

bag palletizing system built for repetitive heavy lifting at a fast rate

Bag Palletizing Systems

Our bag palletizing systems are built for repetitive heavy lifting at a fast rate.

How it works: Typically a roller conveyor brings the bags to the palletizing cell, where a robot will lift a bag or group of bags onto the pallet. For dusty environments, the robot is fitted with a dust jacket. The end of arm tooling is usually a mechanical gripper with fingers or jaws to gently lift the bag and prevent ripping. Slip or tier sheets are used to steady the product on the pallet and are often applied by the same robot.

Depalletizing Systems

Pearson Packaging’s palletizing expertise extends to include depalletizing. Depalletizing is the process of removing items from a pallet to unload them onto another process or accumulation table. Considerations include your speed and production requirements, and container specifications in the design process.

Pearson designs its depalletizing systems with built-in flexibility for future pattern changes and rapid changeovers, and includes easy-to-use color HMI touchscreens. Pearson’s systems are highly reliable and require little maintenance. Smooth, dependable operation and increased productivity is our goal. All methods automatically remove slip sheets, separators, and frame, and discharge the empty pallet.

Flexicell’s pail and drum palletizing systems

Pail Palletizing Systems

Pearson Packaging’s pail and drum palletizing systems are designed with flexibility and productivity in mind. The palletizer can easily be adjusted to handle a variety of container sizes, styles and palletizing patterns. The robustness of design, working in harmony with the accuracy of the heavy-duty robot, means this palletizer can handle anything from a one-pint pail to a 45-gallon drum. Select the right application from the pre-programmed HMI and the system will do the rest.

Pearson’s palletizing systems are easy to operate and require minimum maintenance to perform at exceptional levels. Eliminate downtime and reduce risk and human injuries associated with heavy lifting. Sturdy steel frames and heavy-duty construction withstand heavy use and loads, even in caustic environments. Heavy-duty clamp mechanisms and lifting arms are designed to prevent damage to pails and drums. Accuracy, continual operation, and increased productivity will be your result.

Bundle Palletizing Systems

Pearson’s bundle palletizing systems are perfect for processing loose, wrapped or strapped bundles. Bundle palletizing systems can be easily configured to suit the requirements of each application, with the key being the appropriate selection of the right robot to perform the job at hand. They are built around a central robot and a fully-automated gripper system that guarantees reliability, product safety, and pallet stability. Product knowledge, coupled with sophisticated programming routines and highly-developed end-of-arm tools, all add up to provide the end user with the best solution for any bundle palletizing applications.
